EA Bio Innovation Co., Ltd. (“EBI”) was established with registered and paid-up capital of Baht 100,000 which the Company holds 99.99 percent of shares. The purpose is to produce and distribute biodiesel (B100) and the by-products.

The Company conducted research and development on the high value-added using the crude palm oil as a primary material. Such a method is a know-how of production developed from biodiesel production which is known as the Phase Change Materials (PCM) which operated through subsidiary company – EA Bio Innovation Company Limited. PCM are on demand currently in many countries that aiming to reduce energy consumption or use resources efficiency. By the way for taking crude palm oil also helping to support the palm agriculturists and create price stability of crude palm to get higher.

After EA has successfully invented the innovation from palm oil to produce high-value products such as Phase Change Material (PCM) and Green Diesel, the company established a subsidiary company named EA Bio Innovation Company Limited (EBI) to produce and distribute the biodiesel advance products.

The new factory is located in Rayong province which has already started commercial production.

PHASE CHANGE MATERIAL
PCM is a bio-based product which can be produced from crude palm oil and use to react with hydrogen gas on the catalyst under high temperature and pressure. The main products are Phase change material (PCM) which the new factory has capacity 130 tons per day. Phase change material (PCM) is a substance with a high heat of fusion which, melting and solidifying at a certain temperature, these materials are capable of absorbing and releasing energy when the substance is changing from solid to liquid state and liquid are solid. PCM is classified as latent heat storage (LHS) units and applied in many industries such as building and construction, transportation, clothing, packaging, etc. that require effective temperature control.
